Terribly sad to hear the news of Phil Lesh’s pas

Terribly sad to hear the news of Phil Lesh’s passing. We loved him dearly. When both Geoff and I were young kids we became obsessed with the music of the Grateful Dead, playing along to bootlegs in our bedrooms fantasizing about playing on stage with them. In 2013 and 2014 we got the chance and it changed our lives forever. He was a true loving man that helped us develop a fanbase amongst the Deadheads, even adding one of my songs to his sets every now and again. We are forever grateful to Phil and his lovely family for the love they showed us over the years. We love him and will miss him dearly. In the words of Phil “What’s good for the bass is good for America”.

Godspeed to you, Mr. Phil

Toronto - Longboat Hall- April 26
